Last Update: May 2021

Please ready carefully our Terms Of Service. By using or accessing Miami Sound Rental, you are agreeing to these terms.

These policy may change from time to time. Please refer to the Last Update date to see when the terms were updated.

Services & Delivery

Client is responsible to ensure access to the location and appropriate working space at the agreed times. If Miami Sound Rental technicians cannot start working at the agreed time, for any reason outside of Miami Sound Rental control, and this results in additional setup/breakdown time, the client will be billed at a rate of $40 per hour per person. If Miami Sound Rental technicians cannot get access to the location during the agreed time, Miami Sound Rental will work with client to reschedule the production, and client will be billed the correspondent labor cost and, if applicable, extra rental daily rate. Miami Sound Rental does not guarantee availability of technicians for rescheduling. If rescheduling is not possible during the client desired times, the production will be canceled without reimbursement of any kind.

Payments

A minimum deposit of 20% of the total balance will be required to guarantee services and reserve equipment. The 20% deposit is fully refundable up to 30 days prior to the services, minus a 5% processing fee. The deposit, and any additional payments, are non-refundable within 30 days of the service date. Full payment is required a week before the services are provided. If no payment has been made before that date, the remaining balance of the order will be charged on the credit card on file. Failure to submit remaining balance payment will result in the cancellation of the services without reimbursement of previous payments.

Damage Deposit Hold

A damage deposit hold of $500 will be set on the client's credit card on file one day prior to the service date. The hold will be released when the equipment is returned and inspected for damages. Any damages resulting from misuse of the equipment will be taken from said damage deposit. If the damages total more than $500, Miami Sound Rental will charge the client's credit card on file for the difference.

Outdoor Use of Equipment

Only outdoor rated equipment may be used outdoors without an additional outdoor damage hold. Non-outdoor rated equipment shall only be used under appropriate cover at all times unless the client agrees to an additional outdoor damage hold. Miami Sound Rental technicians have the right to determine if the cover provided by a client is adequate to provide weather protection to the equipment or if the client will be subject to the outdoor damage hold. If the client chooses to install any piece of non-outdoor rated equipment outside without adequate cover, Miami Sound Rental requires an additional outdoor damage hold for the total value of the unprotected pieces of equipment to be set on the client's credit card before the installation starts. Any equipment damages resulting from exposure to weather will be paid to Miami Sound Rental from said credit card hold.

Release Form

The client must be present to sign a release form of all the items rented. The client must also provide a valid USA photo ID or passport. If the client cannot present to sign the release form, the client must authorize an agent to sign on his/her behalf.
If the damage deposit hold is not set before the release signature, the client will be required to provide a valid credit card to set the hold. If Miami Sound Rental technicians have to stay past the agreed installation time due to an unsigned rental release or because the damage deposit hold has not been set, the client will be billed at a rate of $40 per hour per person.
Miami Sound Rental technicians are instructed not to leave any equipment unsupervised until the rental release has been signed and the damage deposit hold has been set. Miami Sound Rental reserves the right to remove the equipment from the premises if no signature or no damage deposit have been submitted before the end of the installation window.

Parking

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the Miami Sound Rental team has sufficient parking for the delivery and installation window, during monitoring times, and for the breakdown and pick up window. Instructions regarding parking should be provided several days before the service date. Any cost of parking is the responsibility of the client. If the technicians end up having to pay for parking, these charges will be taken from the client's damage deposit and charged on the credit card provided.

Electricity

The client is responsible for providing enough power to run the equipment within a maximum of 20ft of the setup location. If the power source(s) are further than 20 ft, the client is responsible to advise the Miami Sound Rental sales team at least 7 days prior to the service date and additional cables will need to be added to the order at the client's expense.

Changes, Cancellations, & Refunds

Changes made more than 30 days prior to the date of service are permitted without penalty. Changes requested less than 30 days from the date of service must be made in writing and Miami Sound Rental reserves the right to approve or decline the request. An approved change may result in additional costs by the client. Such as a change in location resulting in additional travel costs or a change in time resulting in an after hour surcharge or additional rental costs based on the daily rates. All cancellations must be made in writing to Miami Sound Rental. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the service date are fully refundable minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations within 30 days of the service date are non-refundable. Miami Sound Rental reserves the right to consider rescheduling the date of service if the cancellation is more than 7 days prior to the service date. Miami Sound Rental does not guarantee availability of equipment and labor for rescheduled service dates. Any cancellation less than 7 days prior to the service date is not eligible to be rescheduled. In the case of force majeure where Miami Sound Rental is forced to cancel operations and services due to concerns of safety for its employees, Miami Sound Rental will provide the client with an option to reschedule the service date or receive a full refund minus 5% processing fee. Miami Sound Rental reserves the right to determine if a situation falls under force majeure or not.
