Stage Truss Rentals

A useful truss request starts with the intended structure and everything connected to it—not a segment count. Send the footprint, height and span, attached equipment and positions, support concept, surface, exposure, access, dates, engineering responsibility, and labor plan so individual parts or a managed structure can be evaluated responsibly.

Short F44 aluminum box-truss segment isolated for detail
Chord pattern, connection hardware, corners, junctions, and bases must belong to a documented compatible plan

Identify the truss system before drawing the structure

The isolated image shows the exact F44 product selected from the catalog. It is useful for seeing a short segment's chords and diagonal bracing, but it is not a dimension reference: the live title calls the piece 1.5 feet while its description calls it 6 feet. Resolve that record conflict before it enters a bill of materials.

Catalog segments that look similar can belong to different sizes, connection patterns, manufacturers, or structural documents. Record the exact family and part identifier for every straight segment, corner, junction, connector, spacer, sleeve, base, and outrigger. Then have the responsible qualified party determine the permitted geometry and connections. No catalog image or product paragraph establishes allowable span, load, compatibility, engineering, or code compliance.

  • Capture exact identifiers

Record the truss family, segment, connection hardware, corner or junction, base, and accessory IDs from the live products.

  • Resolve record conflicts

Reconcile title, description, drawing, product image, and written bill of materials before relying on any dimension.

  • Assign technical responsibility

Identify who verifies compatibility, geometry, loads, engineering documents, applicable requirements, and qualified installation.

Freestanding goalpost truss structure assembled outdoors
Attached loads, base footprint, support, exposure, access, and labor determine the responsible path

Qualify the complete goalpost project, not just the frame

The outdoor photograph is linked to the XL Truss Goalie Bundle. Its record names six 6.6-foot square segments, two six-way junction boxes, two 36-inch base plates, and four outrigger poles. Those named pieces describe that listing, not an engineered approval for the photographed site. Lights, displays, banners, speakers, cable, power, ballast, anchors, hoists, and labor are separate unless the written order includes them.

Provide every attached item with its weight, location, orientation, and dynamic or moving behavior; the desired clear span and height; base locations; floor or ground information; wind and weather exposure; audience and vehicle separation; power and cable paths; and installation and strike access. The responsible team must establish the support, ballast or anchoring, allowable configuration, monitoring, engineering, and qualified labor. An outdoor-rated field does not authorize use in a given forecast or site condition.

  • List every attachment

Provide the item, weight, position, orientation, cable path, and any movement or operational force for each attachment.

  • Document the support environment

Show bases, footprint, floor or ground, ballast or anchor concept, exposure, clearances, and public separation.

  • Define the responsible team

Confirm engineering, approval, qualified assembly, inspection, weather decisions, operation, monitoring, and strike roles.

Coordinate attached systems

Treat each attached or adjacent system as its own product and technical plan, then bring its exact loads, positions, access, power, and cable requirements back to the truss review.

Truss-project answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Practical boundaries for component versus structure rental, attachments, pickup, outdoor flags, and the information required for technical review.

What truss products are currently listed?

The 73 active records include straight square and box-truss segments, corners, junctions, connectors, spacers, bases, outriggers, covers, hoists, rigging components, and premade goalpost, cube, roof, trade-show, and display-support structures.

Can I rent one truss segment or a complete structure?

The catalog contains both individual components and named bundles. A component list still needs exact system compatibility, geometry, loads, support, site, engineering responsibility, and installation review before it becomes a structure.

Are lights, speakers, video walls, banners, or hoists included with truss?

Do not assume they are. Photographs show application context. Confirm every attachment, cable, power item, hoist, accessory, ballast or anchor, and labor line separately in the written order.

Can I pick up and assemble truss myself?

Only 56 of 73 records are marked for pickup; 13 are marked for two-person handling and four for a technician. Those fields do not establish that a proposed structure is suitable for self-assembly. The responsible plan must define compatibility, engineering, qualified labor, inspection, operation, and strike.

Does an outdoor-rated truss record approve outdoor use in any weather?

No. Sixty-seven records carry that field, but it is not a forecast, wind, rain, lightning, ground, anchoring, ballast, engineering, or venue approval. Submit the exact site and exposure for a responsible weather and support plan.

What information is needed for a truss review?

Send a dimensioned layout; clear span and height; every attached item's weight and position; truss and connection family if known; base and support concept; surface; exposure; access; dates; power and cable paths; and who owns engineering, assembly, inspection, monitoring, operation, and strike.

We used Miami Sound Rental for a conference we were sponsoring. They were the perfect choice for the role. Easy to work with and arrived on time. Quick and efficient. We had to change a few things the week before the event and they were able to accommodate our changes with no issue.
